The spiritual seeker is the lost servant of this world, desperately trying to hold the illusion together. Such a person, occupying themselves in seeking mode day and night, is continuously looking for an Awakening down the road that only could be imagined by that I that was superimposed by the one (the seeker) who never existed in the first place. A tight, closed loop on the mountaintop of the search is being held up. Instead of descending from it, instead of leaving the role of the spiritual seeker behind and blowing the top off right away, instead of embracing the mountainous foundation of rest and peace itself, the very peak alone—the closed loop of this illusion—is fixed as sacred in the mind.
